Cynovus core interests concentrate on a multitude of themes linked to the ongoing interaction between humans and the society. As a result, the most significant of these interests naturally revolve around disciplines or pressing issues such as visual sociology, political sciences or the cultural perspective as a mean for co-existence concerning diverse elements and inconsistencies which today more than ever, are being expected to co-exist within Europe.
At a truly deciding time for Europe, the apparent need for understanding emerging social phenomena can truly contribute into quavering pressing matters such as the cultural cohesion in urban environments, the tolerance of religious expressions and the establishment of a coherent debate within the public sphere.
By focusing precisely on these urgent issues, CyNovus pursues to actively contribute into the existing pool of knowledge. Specifically, through our active involvement in European and locally derived programs we aim at generating and exploiting innovative ideas and tools whose adoption will be able to offer significant progress in empowering social groups in need. These groups could include among others: young entrepreneurs, unemployed people (graduates or not), migrants in their host countries, etc.
Furthermore, due to the considerable experience of our active members in implementing European and locally funded projects, we are confident in reliably contributing into actions and activities linked to qualitative or quantitative research, statistical surveys, identification and exchange of best practices, awareness raising, etc.
At last due to our established network with a number of research institutions, governmental entities and non-profit organizations we are able to continuously develop and propose our own research proposals, for which the addition of new partners remains a priority.
